I painted this one chasing a feeling I couldn't quite name — the memory of flowers at dusk, as I'm walking barefoot in my garden, the last warmth of an evening that's already slipping away. There's something about that moment, just before the scent fades, that I find unbearably beautiful. I wanted to hold onto it.

The deep magentas came first, blooming across the canvas like something remembered rather than seen. Then the moody teals moved in, like shadows gathering at the edges of a garden. I love this feeling — that quiet intensity between colour and memory. I painted until it felt true.
